MILTON (Ontario), January 12, 2021 – Daryll O’Keefe, Regional Vice President for Fix Network Ontario, is pleased to welcome ProColor Collision Mississauga Central to the network, as the ProColor brand expands its footprint across Canada.
The new ProColor Collision location is a 20,000-square foot facility that reflects owner-entrepreneur Sam Maharaj’s years of experience in the collision repair industry and his determination to incorporate the best-in-class automotive technologies in his operations. For over 40 years, Sam has built an excellent reputation in the region’s automotive community for quality repairs with a personal touch.
Sam started his career in the automotive repair business in 1977 and set up his own business, A1 Mississauga Automotive Ltd, in 1989, after recognizing the huge regional demand for an advanced collision repair facility. As a trusted repair shop in Mississauga, his facility enjoys the goodwill of hundreds of satisfied customers and the local community that he supports.
“I had always heard good things about Fix Network and ProColor Collision,” says Sam Maharaj. “We recognize the tremendous power that an established global network and its processes can bring to our own operations. By aligning ourselves with Fix Network, we are keen to elevate our game and create our own niche in the competitive collision repair business.”
Located at 875 Central Parkway West, ProColor Collision Mississauga Central features a range of advanced equipment designed to improve operational efficiencies, including 3D Laser measuring system/ Accuvision 3D, Tecna three-phase structural spot welder, Prospot smart MIG (aluminum and silicone bronze), Chief EVHP Frame machine in addition to a chassis liner, and Global and Garmat USA spray booths.
ProColor Collision Mississauga Central recently achieved the Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP) certification, joining an elite group of Canadian collision repairers who are equipped with the necessary expertise, skills and equipment to properly and safely repair the latest vehicles. The CCIAP is run by Automotive Industries of Canada (AIA) and requires shops to undergo a test of their repair processes and equipment and an audit of facilities in order to meet AIA’s stringent standards.
The coming months will see Sam and his team working towards their I-CAR Gold Certification, the benchmark for training in quality and safe collision repair. Also, in the pipeline is a Paint Performance Guarantee (PPG) certification that ensures that all ProColor Mississauga Central staff are trained in the latest equipment and technologies in collision repair.
Welcoming ProColor Collision Mississauga Central to the network, Daryl O’Keefe says, ““Like many of our strategic partners, Sam and his team demonstrate a clear commitment towards personalized customer experience and sophisticated repair quality. ProColor Collision values their expertise and will always remain committed to supporting their growth and development.”
